Using PowerArchiver to E-Mail Archives |
PowerArchiver uses your standard e-mail application to e-mail files.
There are two ways of e-mailing files with PowerArchiver:
Main PowerArchiver Window - You can e-mail the currently opened archive by selecting "Mail Archive..." from the
"File" menu. PowerArchiver will create a new e-mail message and attach the open archive to it. You can then address the message, add any desired text, and send the e-mail as you usually would.
Shell Extensions - If you enable the "Mail It..." shell
extension (You can enable it in Config> Shell Extensions), you can right click on any archive in Windows Explorer and click
on "E-mail It..." to e-mail the archive. PowerArchiver will create a new e-mail
message and attach the open archive to it. You can then address the message,
add any desired text, and send the e-mail as you usually would.
Click here for more info on shell extensions.
Please Note:
Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Eudora and other mail clients
that support Windows MAPI interface will work with this feature, but AOL mail
might not.
In case your email client does not support MAPI, then you should still be able to
drag & drop an archive to the e-mail client.
